Hopefully the following will help anyone looking to adapt a great motorcycle to his/her height. I am 195cm or 6.4ft, and weigh 205lbs on an ideal day and 210lbs most of the time. The tall seat height has not hurt 690 sales, and despite the fact that the bike has been one of the most unreliable in the market that's not hurt sales either. Manufacturers are stuck between the proverbial rock and hard place. Make the bike lower and it has low ground clearance and isn't taken seriously as a dirt bike. aT3jc.
