The 3.0 D-4D engine (or D4D in many people’s references to the engine) is one of the most popular engines in the SAC Performance Centres. Customers bring their Hilux or Fortuner 3.0 D-4D engines to SAC because they know that SAC has improved the performance on hundreds of these engines and because they know that SAC has continued with the
2,232. Apr 27, 2010. #3. Yay, an engine oil thread finally - probably the most subjective topic we ever get onto. The wider the temp range, the more you're going to pay, so a 5W-50 is serious money compared with say 15w-40. 15W-40 is probably adequate for 99% of UK use. If you're worried about winter chills, then go for the 10W-40.
What is the best engine oil to use on a Hilux 3.0 d4d 2008 model? (108000kms on clock) Not always easy to come by, but the Rimula R3 is also good . Top. Mud Dog
A code P0400 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: • Plugged EGR passage which restricts the flow of exhaust gasses. • Faulty EGR solenoid. • Faulty EGR solenoid wiring/harness. • Vacuum lines damaged/disconnected to the EGR valve solenoid or to the EGR valve. • Faulty EGR valve.
An abused diesel engine will cause big problems - engine/turbo/diesel pump etc. But a well driven - well looked after - D4D diesel will give you 500 000km! Find out what you need to look for in a used diesel engine. If those boxes are ticked then 150 000-200 000km on the D4D is no problem at all.
Tasked to refine the beloved 3-litre turbo-diesel further, Isuzu engineers have finessed new levels of power and torque from the famed engine, all while retaining Isuzu’s trademark reliability and real world fuel efficiency. The 4JJ3-TCX is a derivative of the 4JJ1-TC, evolving from that proven platform to now produce 140kW at 3,600rpm and
Subject: RE: Cat D4C Engine swap. Faunsdale, AL. A D4c should have a 75-80 Hp 4 cylinder engine produced in the 1960's or 1970's possibly. I think the serial number off the engine would tell the tale on what engine it actually has, but if I am thinking of the right age tractor, CAT used the D330 through most of the 1960's, then the D330c around

The 4.5 1VD-FTV V8 Engine has a lot of advantages, the main of which are excellent dynamics and optimal fuel consumption. It is also worth noting the good cross-country ability of a car with this engine on the road and excellent work with timely, proper maintenance.
LIke it says folks 2.0 d4d vs the 2.2d4d. Any thoughts, opinions or experinces please. Things like the 2.2 getting 47mpg to the 49mpg is this reallistic. I've not driven the 2.0, but I can say that the 2.2 is a very nice engine (current woes mentioned in other thread aside). It has a reasonably strong power delivery throughout the rev range, no
